DESIGNER & ARTIST
THE PICKLE BOY
"Pickle Boy" is a zine I wrote, illustrated, and designed, blending folklore, surrealism, and industrial grit into a haunting short story. Set in a factory where cucumbers keep fermenting regardless of human affairs, the narrative follows a missing boy who is changing—but never into a man. Inspired by themes of transformation, neglect, and the strange intersection of the ordinary and the uncanny, the zine explores how those in power look away while the inevitable brews beneath them. With striking visuals and a rhythm reminiscent of machinery in motion, Pickle Boy captures a world where reality brines alongside myth. Available for purchase on Mixam.
